adminNel corso del fine settimana si è corso il ventesimo ed ultimo round del Campionato Mondiale Motocross FIM 2024in Spagna, nella cittadina di Còzar, provincia di Castilla la Mancha. Le giornate di gara sono state caratterizzate da ottime condizioni meteo e pista nuova per tutti, con fondo medio-duro.
Ivo Monticelli (Beta RX450) ha segnato il ventiduesimo tempo nelle prove libere e ventesimo nelle cronometrate.Nel warm-up, con pista più scorrevole, Ivo si è trovato meglio ed ha segnato il settimo miglior tempo, a conferma di un buon potenziale. Purtroppo, nelle due manche la posizione laterale al cancelletto di partenza è risultata determinante e in gara uno il pilota è scattato oltre la ventesima posizione, chiudendo diciannovesimo e conquistando due punti. Un risultato migliore si è registrato invece in gara due, dove pur partendo ancora nelle retrovie, Ivo è risalito al sedicesimo posto.Nella Classifica di Giornata ha chiuso diciannovesimo.
Monticelli ha chiuso ventiquattresimo la Classifica Finale di Campionato, con cento punti.Il suo compagno di squadra, Ben Watson (Beta RX450),ha ottenuto invece il ventunesimo posto, con centodieci punti.
Con la tappa spagnola, cala il sipario sul Mondiale di Motocross 2024, che dà appuntamento ai fan per la prossima stagione.
In classifica finale di campionato Ivo è ventiquattresimo con cento punti. Il suo compagno di squadra Ben Watson (Beta RX450) pur avendo saltato più di meta della stagione è ventunesimo con centodieci punti.

ENGLISH RELEASE
Over the weekend was run the twentieth and final round of the FIM Motocross World Championship 2024 in Spain, in the town of Còzar, province of Castilla la Mancha. The race days were characterised by great weather conditions and a new track with a medium-hard ground.
Ivo Monticelli (Beta RX450) set the 22nd fastest time in free practice and 20th in the time trials. In the warm-up, with a smoother track, Ivo was better and set the 7th best time, confirming his good potential. Unfortunately, in the two heats the lateral position at the starting gate proved to be decisive and in race one the rider started from the 20th position, finishing 19th and earning two points. A better result was recorded in race two, where although still starting from the back of the grid, Ivo climbed to 16th position. In the day’s classification he finished 19th.
Monticelli finished 24th in the Final Championship Standings, with 100 points. His team-mate Ben Watson (Beta RX450), on the other hand, finished 21st, with 110 points.
The Spanish Round brings the Motocross World Championship 2024to its conclusion, giving the fans appointment for the next season.
